What makes Turkish cotton so special?

When it comes to picking out which towel to bring out for a day out on the beach, or which towel to use as a cute picnic blanket, not much thought might be put forth except which design looks the cutest. Although everyone loves a well designed blanket, there are a few more characteristics that set our 100% Turkish blankets apart from the competition. 

 Softness 

Our 100% towels are woven with the finest Turkish cotton. Turkish cotton, when compared with the regular type of cotton found in other towels ( Egyptian Cotton or Upland Cotton), is just the right amount of comfort and support for all and any of your daily needs. The strength and softness of a towel is dictated by the length of the weaves of cotton that are used, and generally the longer the weave of cotton the softer and more dense the towel is. Regular types of cottons used in normal shower towels are not very heavy or comfy, while Egyptian cotton is very heavy and absorbs a large amount of water when used, leading to large drying times and mold buildup. Turkish cotton is the perfect mix of both, leading to a towel that is comfortable and durable, but light enough for versatile use and fast and effective drying times. 

 Production 

Unlike commercially produced generic towels, Our m2 uses genuine Turkish manufactured cotton in all of its fabrics and weaves. This process allows for a more genuine and higher quality product than if synthetic or watered down cotton was used. The process, although not as efficient as large scale production, ensures that every towel is unique and specially woven with care. It also ensures that all workers and the environment are well taken care of and protected.
